Bhubaneswar, June 16 -- Compassion does not require wealth, rather it requires a willingness to help. This belief finds a living example in 45-year-old divyang auto-rickshaw driver Bishnu Patra of Cuttack, who has dedicated himself to serving poor and needy people despite his own physical challenges.

Bishnu became physically disabled after suffering a leg injury in a road accident. Though he struggles with mobility, he continues to drive an auto-rickshaw to support his family, earning around Rs 500 a day. Yet, a portion of his time and effort is devoted to helping those less fortunate.
