Bhubaneswar, July 3 -- The Odisha Crime Branch on Friday conducted a lie detection test on Om Prakash, the friend of Soumya Ranjan Swain who was with the deceased GRP constable at the time of mob attack. The polygraph test was carried out at the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) under tight security.

According to reports, Crime Branch proceeded with the test after obtaining permission from the court in Bhubaneswar. Om Prakash also gave his consent for the examination. The agency was conducting the test to verify the authenticity of the information provided by him during the investigation.
