Bhubaneswar, June 2 -- A team from the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has intensified its investigation into the alleged mob violence death of GRP constable Soumya Ranjan Swain at Balianta on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

As part of the inquiry, a two-member NHRC team visited Balianta on Tuesday and examined the circumstances surrounding the incident with the assistance of the local police. The team inspected the spot, recorded video evidence, and collected statements related to the case.
