Bhubaneswar, May 8 -- A day after a Railway constable Soumya Ranjan Swain was lynched in Balianta, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar for allegedly hitting a woman and kissing her, his family members on Friday staged a road blockade on the Phulnakhara-Nialia road, demanding action against those involved.

"We demand justice! Who are the culprits behind this crime, and what motivated this act? What crime did he commit? Did he rape the girl or tear her blouse? What was the reason for this brutal killing of Soumya?" questioned an angry local resident.
