Bhubaneswar, May 31 -- The Balasore Mining Department carried out a major enforcement drive in the Jaleswar area on Sunday, seizing several vehicles allegedly involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of minerals. The operation was conducted at multiple locations as part of a sustained crackdown on unlawful mining activities in the region.

Officials launched the raid early in the morning, confiscating six Hyva trucks and four tractors loaded with sand, soil, and murrum. The action comes amid repeated complaints regarding unauthorized extraction and transportation of natural resources from Jaleswar and the surrounding areas.
