Bhubaneswar, June 11 -- Odisha Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) Minister Mukesh Mahaling has announced that beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme are entitled to a wider range of medical services, including diagnostic tests conducted before hospital admission and follow-up treatment after discharge.

Speaking during the OTV programme 'Khola Katha', the Minister said that all medical tests carried out up to three days before a patient's admission to a hospital are covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He further stated that beneficiaries are also eligible for medical care and treatment-related facilities for up to 15 days after being discharged from the hospital.
