India, Sept. 17 -- The devastating Assam floods became the central theme of a Vishwakarma Puja mandap at Nalco Nagar in Angul district, where a puja committee has used an elaborate installation to spread awareness about the consequences of disturbing nature.

Lord Vishwakarma, revered as the divine craftsman, has been worshipped at Nalco Nagar for the past 42 years. Every year, different puja committees in the township come up with innovative themes, elaborate idols and decorative arches to attract visitors from Odisha and outside.

Puja Mandap Sends Message to Protect Nature
