Bhubaneswar, Sept. 7 -- A Jatra performance in AthagarhOdisha's Cuttack witnessed a disruption on Sunday after spectators hurled chairs and water bottles onto the stage during a particular scene of a play based on the life of Jatra artiste Nisha Maharana.

The incident occurred while Tarini Gananatya was staging its play 'Nisha Nisha Rati'. The audience reportedly became agitated during a rape scene performed on stage.
