Bhubaneswar, Aug. 4 -- An armed robbery was reported from Judagadia village under Jagadalpur panchayat in Odisha's Bhadrak district. As per initial reports, four armed miscreants allegedly entered a house, confined the occupants and looted cash along with gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees. One of the accused was later caught by villagers, while three others managed to flee.

The robbery took place on Monday night at around 9 pm at the house of Niranjan Satpathy.

According to reports, the four accused knocked on the door and entered the house as soon as Niranjan opened it. They allegedly locked Niranjan and his wife inside a room before ransacking the house and fleeing with cash and valuables.
