Bhubaneswar, June 24 -- A routine suburban train journey on Mumbai's Western Railway turned tragic after a 22-year-old passenger was allegedly stabbed to death following a heated argument inside a first-class compartment, police said.

According to the Government Railway Police (GRP), the altercation began over a seemingly minor issue that quickly escalated into violence inside a moving train. Both the victim and the accused had boarded the same first-class coach at Andheri station. As heavy rain lashed the city, a disagreement broke out between them over whether the compartment door should remain open or be closed during the journey.
