Bhubaneswar, April 29 -- In a significant development in Odisha's Angul district, Reserve Inspector Gobinda Mahari has been transferred to Kalahandi following allegations of harassment made by a woman havildar. The transfer, which follows the recommendation of the Angul Superintendent of Police (SP), comes amid claims of mental harassment and inappropriate behavior.

The woman havildar accused Reserve Inspector Mahari of subjecting her to mental harassment and inappropriate behavior, including staring at her in an objectionable manner.
