Bhubaneswar, April 4 -- OdishaChief Minister Mohan Majhi on Saturday announced that Anganwadi centres will be merged with Shishu Vatika in a phased manner, alongside plans to establish model primary schools in every village to strengthen foundational education.
The Chief Minister said the proposed institutions will be named Godabarish Mishra Adarsh Primary Schools. Each school will be developed on five acres of land with an expenditure of Rs 6 crore.
The schools will include parks, playgrounds and necessary equipment for children, aimed at improving early-stage learning infrastructure across the state.
