Bhubaneswar, April 15 -- A disturbing case of alleged sexual exploitation and digital blackmail involving 180 minor girls has surfaced in Maharashtra's Amravati district, triggering outrage and a widening police investigation into what officials suspect could be a larger network.

Reportedly, a 19-year-old man, Ayan Ahmed Tanveer Ahmed, also known as Mohammad Ayaz, has been arrested by Amravati Rural Police for allegedly exploiting minor girls, recording explicit videos without consent, and using them for blackmail. The arrest followed a complaint filed by BJP MP Anil Bonde along with a tip-off about his activities in the Paratwada area.
