Bhubaneswar, July 11 -- Odisha police witnessed another high-profile exit as a second IPS officer resigned from service days after Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Jagmohan Meena's resignation. In the latest development, Odisha cadre IPS officer C.A. Ramdas formally submitted his resignation.

The report came to light on Saturday morning.

As per reports, Ramdas belongs to the 2025 batch of the police service and was still undergoing his foundational training.

He is currently stationed at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Hyderabad. Although the officer was allotted the Odisha cadre by the central government, he had not received his first field posting in the state.
