Bhubaneswar, April 3 -- Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Krushna Chandra Sethi sustained injuries after being hit by an 'Ama Bus' while cycling near Bhubaneswar Club on Friday morning.

According to sources, the incident occurred when the 'Ama Bus' allegedly rammed into him from behind while he was on his routine cycling session. The impact left the senior police officer injured on the spot, triggering immediate concern among passersby.

On being informed, personnel from the Capital Police Station rushed to the scene and rescued the injured officer. He was promptly shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
