Bhubaneswar, Oct. 1 -- Five years have passed since the much-debated suspicious death of Paralakhemundi ACF Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra. The case has seen several developments over the years, with the then DFO Sangram Keshari Behera arrested earlier and cook Manmath Kumbha also arrested yesterday.

Meanwhile, a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) had been issued by the Paralakhemundi court against Soumya Ranjan's wife, Bidyabharati Panda. She had approached the Orissa High Court and later the Supreme Court seeking bail. However, after her bail plea was rejected, concerns over her possible arrest have increased.

Bidyabharati has now sought another month's time to appear before the High Court.
