Bhubaneswar, May 3 -- In a heartwarming story of resilience and companionship, two elderly destitute individuals from Jaleswar in Odisha's Balasore district have entered into wedlock, proving that love knows no age or adversity.

Seventy-year-old Chaitanya Soren, a visually impaired man suffering from leprosy and originally from Hatigad, had been living in Jaleswar town after leaving his home. Surviving by begging near the local railway station, he met 65-year-old Champa Soren from the Raibania area, who was also struggling to make ends meet.
