Bhubaneswar, June 1 -- Online sale and home delivery of Shree Jagannath Mahaprasad khaja once again sparked resentment among servitors and other stakeholders on Monday. They alleged that the practice violates the long-standing traditions and sanctity associated with the sacred offering of Lord Jagannath.

The controversy resurfaced after an advertisement promoting the online sale of Mahaprasad was circulated on social media. Critics questioned the practice, maintaining that Mahaprasad should only be obtained through the established system at the Srimandir.
