Bhubaneswar, April 8 -- A bridge over the Anga river, meant to connect Bolangir and Sonepur districts, has been ready since 2023. But even after more than two and a half years, the approach roads are yet to be built. 

Sans the approach roads, the bridge remains unused, leaving local people frustrated and still struggling with poor connectivity.

The project began in 2019 to connect Kutasingha and Kapasira with the aim of making travel easier and improving daily life in the area. 

While the bridge work was completed, the road work never started. Today, the structure stands complete, but without roads, it serves no purpose.
