Bhubaneswar, April 19 -- Thirty-four students were rescued from Berhampur railway station in Odisha on Saturday. They were found travelling on the Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express, officials said.
The operation was carried out by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), following which all the rescued students were handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) for further inquiry.
According to officials, the group of 34 students was intercepted at Berhampur railway station and subsequently taken into the custody of the GRP. Two youths, who were accompanying the students during the journey to Hyderabad, were detained and are currently being questioned.
