Bhubaneswar, April 12 -- Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida made a significant statement regarding the 33% Women's Reservation Bill on Sunday. She said that 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies will give a new direction to the country.
Deputy CM Parida stated that the reservation system will further strengthen women's voices and enhance their participation in the governance. She highlighted that women are now more empowered than before, with many progressing from self-help groups to becoming 'Lakhpati Didis'.
