Bhubaneswar, June 5 -- A 22-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her in-laws' house in Odisha's Nayagarh district on Thursday, less than three months after her marriage. The incident, reported from Kurumabankatara village under Odagaon police limits, has triggered allegations of murder from the deceased woman's family.

The deceased has been identified as Shubhashree Mahapatra of Badapada village in Ganjam district. Following a complaint lodged by her father, Odagaon police detained her husband, Deepak Kumar Mahapatra, and initiated an investigation into the case.
