Bhubaneswar, June 16 -- The attack on Titilagarh businessman Shambhu Agrawal has taken a new turn with the arrest of two accused, including Santosh Rana, an accused in the 2013 murder case of State BJD youth general secretary Abhimanyu Sahu.

Santosh Rana (39) and Shubham Rana (19) were arrested for allegedly attacking Agrawal in the early hours of Monday. Both have been booked under BNS Sections 109 and 308 and are to be produced before the court on Tuesday.

Sources said that although the attack took place on Monday morning, no FIR was registered till afternoon. Police first shifted the injured businessman to the hospital and later brought him to the police station.
