Bhubaneswar, March 18 -- In a significant development, a crude oil tanker (a large cargo ship designed for efficient transportation of liquid and gaseous fuels) arrived at Paradip Port in Jagatsinghpur district on Wednesday, marking a key supply movement amid ongoing global uncertainties.
The vessel, identified as MT Flora, has transported around 2.5 lakh metric tonnes of crude oil from Oman. This is said to be the first such shipment to reach Paradip Port from Muscat during the current tense situation in the Middle East.
