Bhubaneswar, Oct. 4 -- A stray dog reportedly bit 13 people at different locations in Gunupur of Rayagada district. This left residents concerned about the safety of people, including school-going children.

The injured people were taken to Gunupur Sub-Divisional Hospital (SDH) for treatment. Of them, 12 are currently undergoing treatment.

According to reports, the stray dog chased and bit people at different places across Gunupur. The incidents caused concern among residents, with people worried about further attacks.

One of the affected persons, Arun Padhi, said that he was bitten while travelling on a bike.
