'Zero Teenage Pregnancy' mission begins in Kandhamal amid growing concern
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 7 -- Kandhamal district administration launched the 'Zero Teenage Pregnancy' programme following concerns over the rising number of teenage pregnancies across the district.
According to official data, more than 300 minor girls reportedly became pregnant in Kandhamal over the past three years.
A crucial meeting and training programme for officials and trainers was held in Phulbani on Thursday as part of the ongoing initiative. The programme aims to strengthen awareness and preventive measures across the district through coordinated efforts by multiple departments.
