Bhubaneswar, April 10 -- What began as a supposed robbery in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar has now emerged as a chilling tale of deception and murder. The killing of a young spice trader has exposed a grim plot allegedly orchestrated by his own wife along with her lover.

On the night of April 7, 28-year-old Purohit Devkrishna was found brutally murdered inside his residence. His body showed multiple injuries inflicted with a sharp weapon, pointing to a violent and intentional attack. His wife, Priyanka Purohit, initially claimed that unidentified robbers had broken into their home, looted valuables worth Rs.3.5 lakh, and killed her husband when he resisted.
