Bhubaneswar, April 13 -- A fresh political controversy erupted in Odisha over allegations of cross-voting during the Rajya Sabha elections, with senior BJD leader Pranab Prakash Das, also known as Bobby Das, making serious claims against former MLA Prabhat Biswal, sources said on Monday.

Addressing a public platform in Jajpur district, Bobby alleged that Biswal demanded Rs 8 crore in exchange for casting his vote in favour of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) during the Rajya Sabha elections. Bobby Das further termed Biswal 'ungrateful' while accusing him of bargaining for Rs 8 crore for his vote.
