Bhubaneswar, Sept. 4 -- When Tanisha Agrawal began exploring career options after school, becoming a commercial pilot was not an immediate choice. It was only after researching the aviation industry that she became convinced that flying was the career she wanted to pursue.

Today, the young woman from Odisha's Bargarh district has become the first woman from the district to obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), turning an unconventional career choice into a reality.

Speaking about her journey to OTV, Tanisha said she came across the profession of commercial piloting while exploring different career options. Her interest grew as she researched the aviation industry.
