Bhubaneswar, April 10 -- In a shocking turn of events, two youths arrested for a theft at the Maa Bhadrakali temple in Odisha's Bhadrak district have claimed that they were frightened during the crime, which led them to flee the scene. The incident occurred last Sunday, and the accused were apprehended by the police within 24 hours.

According to police officials, the accused broke open the temple's donation box and stole cash before attempting to enter the inner treasury. However, the youths later claimed that unusual experiences during the theft caused them to panic and abandon their plans.
