Bhubaneswar, June 17 -- In a significant initiative aimed at strengthening the participation of adolescents in governance and policy-making processes, the Odisha Government organised the annual 'Advika Barta' programme at Lok Seva Bhawan on Tuesday.

The event was held as part of the 'Day for Children' initiative and was jointly organised by the State Government, the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR), and UNICEF.

Through video conferencing, adolescents from all 30 districts of Odisha participated in the interactive session and engaged directly with the state leadership.
