India, Oct. 30 -- Double Horse Foods is strengthening its rice portfolio with a focus on traditional rice varieties, hygienic processing and convenience-led product innovation, including no-wash rice and a range of two-minute ready-to-eat products.

Speaking to NUFFOODS Spectrum, Anni Vinod Manjila, Director, Double Horse Foods, highlighted the nutritional attributes of Palakkadan Matta rice, a traditional Geographical Indication (GI)-tagged red rice variety from Kerala, and the company's efforts to make it more accessible to modern consumers.
