India, April 17 -- To launch large-scale initiative on iron deficiency anaemia and protein malnutrition

Danone India in partnership with the Department of Family Health and Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh, announced the launch of a iron deficiency anaemia and protein malnutrition awareness project in three districts - Lucknow, Siddharthnagar and Shravasti.

The initiative aims to address two of the most pressing nutritional challenges impacting children and communities through a combination of awareness, early screening, and community-level interventions. Implemented in partnership with Grow Well Foundation, the project will initially be rolled out across identified districts, with a structured roadmap for scale-up.
