Zubeen Garg death case: Prime accused Shyamkanu Mahanta moves Supreme Court for bail

Guwahati: Shyamkanu Mahanta, a key accused in the case related to the death of celebrated Assamese singer Zubeen Garg, has approached the Supreme Court seeking bail after the Gauhati High Court declined to grant him bail.
Sources said Mahanta has filed a petition before the apex court challenging the High Court's decision. The matter has been scheduled for hearing on Tuesday.
The development comes amid ongoing legal proceedings in the high-profile case that has drawn widespread attention across Assam.
