Guwahati: Shekharjyoti Goswami, one of the accused in the case involving Zubeen Garg's death, made a bail request to the Gauhati High Court on Monday. The court has reportedly scheduled to make its decision about the bail request on May 28.

In a related matter, on the 26th of this month, the court will also issue a judgment regarding the formulation of charges against the seven accused - Shyamkanu Mahanta, Sandipan Garg, Siddharth Sharma, Amritprabha Mahanta, Shekharjyoti Goswami, Nandeshwar Bora and Paresh Baishya.
