Guwahati, July 23 -- The Gauhati High Court on Thursday fixed August 13 as the next date of hearing in the Zubeen Garg murder case after hearing a petition filed by Shyamkanu Mahanta and considering the submissions made by the parties.

The High Court is also scheduled to hear three separate petitions filed by Siddhartha Sharma on the next date of hearing as proceedings in the case continue.

One of the petitions seeks the de-freezing of bank accounts seized during the investigation. Another seeks access to the investigation report received from Singapore, while the third relates to issues arising from the ongoing legal proceedings in the case.

The court is also expected to hear a separate petition filed by Mahabir Aqua.
