Imphal, July 31 -- Representatives of the Unified Zou Organisation (UZO), Zomi Chief Association (ZCA) and the Zomi Council (ZC) on July 31 called on Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh at the Chief Minister's Secretariat in Imphal, where the Chief Minister, along with MLA Tongbram Robindro, welcomed the delegation.

The Chief Minister assured the 14-member delegation that the government remains committed to promoting peace, fostering harmony among all communities and creating an environment conducive to normal life.

He said the government would continue engaging with all stakeholders to achieve a peaceful, inclusive and lasting resolution to the prevailing situation.
