Guwahati, Aug. 26 -- WhatsApp is rolling out three security-focused features designed to give users greater control over account access and calls from unfamiliar numbers. The updates include a stronger two-step verification method, additional information about unknown callers, and support for multiple passkeys on the same account across Android and iOS.
Meta announced the changes in a WhatsApp blog post on August 25, 2026.
