Agartala, Aug. 31 -- Elections to the village committees under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) will be held on September 28, State Election Commissioner PK Chakravarti announced on Monday.

According to the election schedule, the notification will be issued on September 1, marking the beginning of the election process. The last date for filing nominations is September 8, with nomination papers to be accepted between 11 am and 3 pm.

Scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on September 9, while candidates can withdraw their nominations until 3 pm on September 11.
