Tripura's female labour force participation rate jumps to 45.9%, CM tells NITI Aayog

Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Thursday said the state's female labour force participation rate has risen to 45.9 per cent in 2025 from 37.5 per cent in 2022, registering an increase of 8.4 percentage points over the past three years.
Addressing the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog on the theme "Human Capital for Viksit Bharat", Saha highlighted a range of initiatives undertaken by the state government to promote women's economic empowerment, education, healthcare and skill development.
