Agartala: The Tripura Police has issued fresh guidelines prohibiting personnel from creating or sharing social media content in uniform if it compromises the dignity, discipline or public image of the force.

The directive was circulated through an official memorandum issued by the Superintendent of Police, West Tripura district, after senior authorities expressed concern over the increasing trend of police personnel posting reels, short videos and similar content on social media platforms while in uniform.
