Agartala, June 30 -- Tripura's economy has registered significant growth over the past two years, with the state's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) increasing to an estimated Rs 89,682 crore in 2024-25, while per capita income has climbed to Rs 1.93 lakh, officials said on Monday.

The figures were presented during the state-level observance of the 20th Statistics Day held at Pragna Bhavan in Agartala.

The event was organised by the Directorate of Economics and Statistics (DES) to commemorate the 133rd birth anniversary of noted statistician Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis.

According to official estimates, Tripura's GSDP has grown from Rs 70,633 crore in 2022-23 to Rs 89,682 crore in 2024-25. During the same period, the state's per capi...
