Agartala: A court in Tripura's Khowai district has summoned several senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders, including Lok Sabha MP Abhishek Banerjee, Rajya Sabha MP Dola Sen and party leader Kunal Ghosh, in connection with a case registered during the party's political activities in the state in 2021.

Public Prosecutor of Khowai District Court Abhijit Bhattacharjee said the case stems from an incident that occurred after police arrested 14 TMC workers in Khowai and produced them before a court.
