Agartala, Sept. 6 -- Tipra Motha Party supremo Pradyot Kishore Debbarman on Saturday said the coming month would be crucial for securing the full implementation of the Tiprasa Accord, a day after he and Chief Minister Manik Saha met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi.

In a Facebook Live, Debbarman said he had taken note of Saha's statement following the meeting and claimed that Shah had asked the chief minister to inform the people of Tripura that the accord would be implemented within a month.

Debbarman said the discussions in New Delhi covered issues concerning the interests of the people, including land rights and financial autonomy of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council.
