India, March 31 -- Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday said that three panchayats from the state have been selected for the Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Nanaji Deshmukh Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar 2025, conferred by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.

In a social media post, Saha said Sepahijala district secured the top rank in the Best District Panchayat category, while Kanchanbari Gram Panchayat in Unakoti district was ranked first under the Healthy Panchayat category.

Baikunthapur Gram Panchayat in West Tripura district secured the third position in the Women-Friendly Panchayat category, he added.
