Agartala: The CPI(M) Tripura State Committee on Wednesday held a meeting in Agartala to review the political and organisational situation in the state and chalk out its programmes ahead of the upcoming Village Committee and municipal elections.

The meeting was held at Dasarath Deb Bhavan in the presence of CPI(M) national general secretary M A Baby and other state leaders.

State secretary and Leader of Opposition Jitendra Chaudhury said the meeting was part of the party's regular organisational process and would review political, economic and other significant developments in Tripura over the past month.
