Guwahati: The Government of Sikkim has lifted the odd-even vehicle movement restrictions across all districts of the state, with the exception of Gangtok town, effective immediately. The rollback comes after authorities noted a significant improvement in the availability of fuel supplies.

The Home Department issued an official notification on Sunday, May 31, announcing the decision following a review of the state's fuel stock situation. The Food and Civil Supplies Department had informed the government that sufficient buffer stocks of both petrol (Motor Spirit) and diesel (High-Speed Diesel) had been built up to meet current demand.
