Guwahati, July 25 -- Following two enchanting evenings that showcased the diversity, discipline and timeless beauty of Indian classical dance, the India International Dance Festival (IIDF) Guwahati 2026 successfully concluded at the Kanaklal Barua Auditorium within the Assam State Museum, Ambari, recently.

"Celebrating Dance Sans Division" - this was the unifying theme that brought together over 100 eminent artistes and young practitioners from across India. Co-presented by Samskritiki, Bhubaneswar, and Darpan Dance Akademi, Guwahati, the festival was guided by the shared vision of Festival Founder Shyamhari Chakra and Festival Director Anjana Moyee Saikia, a celebrated Odissi and Sattriya dancer.
