Imphal, Sept. 21 -- The President of India has appointed four Manipur Civil Service (MCS) officers to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) on probation until further orders.

According to an official notification issued on September 18, 2026, by the Under Secretary to the Government of India, the appointments were made under Rule 8(1) of the IAS (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, and Regulation 9(1) of the IAS (Probation) Rules, 1954.
