Nepal: MEA reports 88 Indians rescued from Hydropower Project in Rasuwa, 287 remain missing
Guwahati, Aug. 29 -- Four Indian nationals were rescued from a hydropower project in Nepal's Rasuwa district on August 29, according to an update issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
The four rescued individuals have been identified as Ripu Kumar, Chaneshwar Narzary, Kripa Shankar and Mohammed Minhajuddin. They are expected to reach Kathmandu shortly.
According to the MEA's latest update, issued as of 5 pm on August 29, a total of 88 Indian nationals have been rescued, while 287 Indian nationals remain missing. Another 128 persons of Indian origin have also been reported missing.
